More than 10 billion Entenmann’s® Little Bites® snacks have been lovingly baked soft and moist since our innovative “portable pouch” of good choice deliciousness was introduced in 1999. Here's a look back into the history of Little Bites® baked snacks:
Entenmann’s® Little Bites® baked snacks started rolling off the assembly line in 1999, introduced to the U.S. snack market in convenient and pre-portioned snack pouches. First flavors were Little Bites® Blueberry Muffins, Little Bites® Fudge Brownies, Little Bites® Glazed Donut Holes and Little Bites® Chocolate Chip Cookies.
In 2008, Little Bites® Banana Muffins were added as a perfect breakfast treat! Little Bites® Snickerdoodle arrived in 2011 filled with a classic cinnamon flavor!
In 2012, once again keeping atop of market trends and consumer demand, the company introduced its first-ever seasonal Little Bites® baked snack. Little Bites® Pumpkin Muffins perfectly fit the feeling of fall and now makes an appearance every year in September.
Inspired by the popularity of Entenmann’s® delicious Classic Crumb Cake, Little Bites® Crumb Cakes arrived on store shelves in 2013.
Success in the seasonal snacking market has inspired Entenmann’s® to continue to expand that line. In 2014, the company added Little Bites® Party Cakes. Party Cakes were so popular, they debuted as a year-round product in May of 2015. After all, who doesn’t like to celebrate all year long?
Making its debut in the Seasonal Favorites® line in November 2015 will be Little Bites® Apple Cinnamon Muffins. Bite into these tasty muffins for a burst of fall flavor! These new Little Bites® baked snacks are made with real apples and sweet cinnamon to deliver that cozy fall flavor everyone craves this time of year! Eat them as is or serve them warmed, topped with ice cream… yum!!!
Strawberry Yogurt was initially introduced as a seasonal variety in March 2014. These bite-sized muffins became increasingly popular and transitioned into a year-round product in April 2017. A combination of real sweet strawberries and creamy yogurt, making them a good source of Calcium and Vitamin D!
